The Ultra Racing C-pillar brace is designed to increase the body rigidity of the Hyundai Santa Fe II CM. Installation takes place at 2 mounting points.
When cornering quickly, braking hard and accelerating, the vehicle chassis is subjected to heavy loads, primarily due to the transfer of body mass.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can cause the chassis or body to bend and twist, consequently reducing tyre grip.
Body flex during cornering can affect handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The C-pillar brace helps limit such deformation and improve body rigidity.
