The vehicle chassis is subjected to the greatest loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in considerable chassis or body twisting and deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This chassis brace is designed to increase body rigidity and reduce twisting during dynamic driving.
