The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is especially pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This can result in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The brace has 2 mounting points. The product is intended only for Ford Focus III vehicles with a 2.0T engine and 2WD.
