Ultra Racing chassis brace for Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV CN9A/V CP9A

The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or intense acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

This chassis brace is designed to reduce the effect of such loads on the body.
