The vehicle chassis is one of the parts subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is especially true due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. The result is significant chassis flex, body deformation and loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace helps further connect the vehicle structure and limit unwanted body movement.
