The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to 3 times greater than the other. This results in significant chassis flex or deformation and body torsion, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing chassis brace is designed to reduce these undesirable body movements. The product has 6 mounting points.
Suitable for Toyota Celica T18 versions with a 2.0 2WD engine and Toyota Celica GT4 T18 with a 2.0 4WD engine.
