The Ultra Racing chassis reinforcement is designed to reduce body flex and twisting during dynamic driving. During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to significant loads due to the transfer of vehicle weight.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more load than the other. This can cause greater twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip. Body twisting can also affect vehicle behaviour, such as understeer and oversteer.
