The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident when the vehicle’s body mass is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
In some cases, the transfer of mass while cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
These Ultra Racing fender bars are designed to reduce unwanted bodywork twisting. They attach at 3 mounting points.
