The vehicle chassis is subjected to high loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other side. This causes significant bending, deformation and twisting of the body, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower brace helps increase the stiffness of this part of the chassis.
