The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In certain situations, the transfer of weight during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to experience up to three times more load than the other. This causes significant chassis flex, deformation and torsional twisting of the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace helps limit these undesirable effects.
