The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for BMW X3 (E83) helps increase body stiffness and limit twisting during dynamic driving.
During hard cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the vehicle’s chassis is subjected to considerable loads caused by the transfer of the body’s mass.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can result in the chassis and body bending and twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
