Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Citroen C4 Picasso I/DS 4 I/Peugeot 3008 I

The chassis is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes significant twisting and deformation of the chassis or bodywork, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front lower chassis brace helps improve the stiffness of this part of the bodywork.
