The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant chassis flex or body deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis flex and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower brace is designed to increase the rigidity of this area of the chassis.
- Mounts to the front lower section of the chassis
- 3 mounting points
- Helps reduce chassis flex during dynamic driving
Suitable for: Ford Ranger VI (P703).
