The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body flex during dynamic driving. The vehicle’s chassis or bodywork is subjected to heavy loads during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration due to weight transfer.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can cause significant bending and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Body flex during cornering can also affect the vehicle’s handling and cause understeer or oversteer. The brace increases the stiffness of the lower section of the chassis and helps limit these unwanted effects.
