The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This can result in significant chassis flex, body deformation and loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front lower chassis brace helps increase the stiffness of this area and limit its flex.
The product is intended for 2.0 4WD and 2.4 2WD engines and has 2 mounting points.
