The vehicle chassis is subjected to significant loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of weight to one side of the vehicle can create up to three times more force than on the other side. This causes considerable twisting and bending of the chassis or body, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation when driving through corners can cause poorer handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower brace helps increase the rigidity of this part of the body.
