The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is mainly caused by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can cause pronounced chassis flex, or deformation and torsional twisting of the body, resulting in loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace provides additional chassis support at the mounting area.
