The vehicle chassis is heavily loaded during fast driving, mainly due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration. The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace connects the mounting points on the underside of the vehicle and helps reduce chassis twisting.
When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can lead to significant bending and twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip. Reducing chassis deformation can help limit undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
Compatibility includes the Lexus IS XE30 with 2.0T, 2.5 V6, 2.0 and 2.5 hybrid powertrains, as well as 2WD versions. It is also compatible with the listed versions equipped with electronic dampers.
