The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. These high loads are caused mainly by the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When mass is transferred in a corner, one side of the vehicle can be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant chassis twisting or body deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
