The vehicle chassis is one of the parts subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. When cornering quickly, braking hard or accelerating, the transfer of mass affects the bodywork and can cause the chassis to twist and bend.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than the load on the other side. This causes greater body flex and consequently reduces tyre grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation can negatively affect vehicle handling and cause understeer or oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower brace helps increase the rigidity of this part of the chassis and improve vehicle responsiveness.
