Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Mercedes-Benz GL X164

The car’s chassis is one of the most heavily loaded parts of the vehicle, as it is affected by the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause significant twisting and bending of the chassis, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace is designed to provide additional support to the front lower section of the chassis.
