The vehicle chassis is one of the most heavily loaded components, as it is affected by the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can cause significant chassis flex, deformation and torsional body twisting, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and flex while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace helps increase the rigidity of this area and limit unwanted body flex.
