The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can result in significant chassis twisting, or body deformation and torsion, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can lead to poorer handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower brace further reinforces the chassis at the front of the vehicle.
