Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Mercedes-Benz S-Class W221

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times greater force than the other. This can cause significant twisting and bending of the chassis or body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front lower chassis brace helps increase the rigidity of this part of the body.
