Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII/VIII CT9A and Airtrek CU

A car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s weight during hard cornering, heavy braking or strong acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer while cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in significant chassis flex, or deformation and torsional twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

This is where Ultra Racing comes in. The front lower chassis brace is attached at 4 mounting points.

Suitable for: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII (CT9A), Mitsubishi Outlander I (CU/W).
