The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace is designed for the Nissan NV200 (M20), model year 2009 onwards, with a 1.6 engine and 2WD. The brace has 4 mounting points.
During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the vehicle chassis is subjected to considerable loads, mainly due to the transfer of the body’s mass.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to 3 times greater than on the other side. This can cause considerable twisting and bending of the chassis, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
