When driving at high speed, braking hard and accelerating, the vehicle chassis is subjected to heavy loads caused by the transfer of the body’s weight.
When cornering quickly, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in chassis and body twisting and flexing, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. This front lower brace helps increase chassis rigidity around the mounting area.
