The vehicle’s chassis or body is exposed to heavy loads while driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
During fast cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater chassis twisting and deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front lower brace helps increase chassis rigidity and limit its twisting.
