Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Peugeot 406 I

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, hard braking or hard acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can result in considerable chassis twisting, body deformation and torsional loads, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
