Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace for Saab 9-5 I YS3E

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer while cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This can result in significant chassis flex, deformation and body twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
