The vehicle’s chassis is exposed to high loads while driving, especially due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis to bend and twist, or the body to deform, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis bending and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace helps limit these movements.
