The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body flex and deformation during dynamic driving. During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to high loads caused by the transfer of the vehicle body’s mass.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in greater deformation and chassis flex, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps increase the rigidity of the lower section of the front chassis.
