The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. These loads are mainly caused by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more load than the other. This can cause significant bending, deformation and twisting of the chassis, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower chassis brace is designed to increase the stiffness of the front part of the body and reduce unwanted chassis twisting.
