The car’s chassis or bodywork is subjected to significant loads during fast driving, particularly due to weight transfer when cornering quickly, braking hard or accelerating.
In some cases, weight transfer during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes considerable chassis flex or deformation and bodywork torsion, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front lower brace helps increase the rigidity of this area of the chassis and limit its flexing during dynamic driving.
