The vehicle body is subjected to heavy loads during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of body weight.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause considerable twisting and deformation of the body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace connects the upper mounting points of the front struts and helps increase the stiffness of the front section of the body.
