The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is especially pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This causes significant chassis flex or deformation and torsion of the bodywork, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This Ultra Racing version is designed to provide additional reinforcement for the front upper section of the chassis.
- Design: front upper strut brace reinforcement
- Number of mounting points: 6
Suitable for: Toyota Previa III (XR50).
