Ultra Racing interior body brace for Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII/VIII and Airtrek/Outlander I

The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. These loads occur mainly due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.

When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes significant chassis flex or body deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and flexing in corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The interior body brace helps reduce these negative effects.
