The Ultra Racing interior body brace is designed to reduce body flex caused by weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes greater body flex and deformation, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Body flex when driving through corners can also cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps increase body rigidity and improve vehicle responsiveness.
