The vehicle body is subjected to heavy loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater body flex and deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Body flex in corners can also cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing interior chassis brace helps further tie the body together and reduce its deformation.
