The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest stress during dynamic driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more load than the other. This causes significant chassis flex and deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis flex and deformation in corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace is designed to reduce these effects.
