Ultra Racing interior chassis brace for Mitsubishi Lancer VIII / Proton Inspira

The Ultra-R 2-point interior chassis brace (Room Bar) connects the mounting points inside the vehicle and helps increase chassis rigidity.

During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the vehicle chassis is subjected to high loads, mainly due to the transfer of the vehicle’s weight.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can cause the chassis to flex and deform, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
