The chassis is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to loads up to three times greater than the other. This results in significant deformation and flexing of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing LA4-343 brace is designed to add stiffness to the front lower section of the chassis. It attaches at 4 mounting points.
Suitable for: Subaru Impreza II (GD/GG).
