The Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body flex during dynamic driving. During fast cornering, heavy braking and intensive acceleration, the chassis is subjected to high loads caused by the transfer of the body’s weight.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other side. This causes significant bending and twisting of the chassis or body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps increase the stiffness of the lower part of the body, thereby contributing to more predictable vehicle behaviour.
