The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. Significant loads occur mainly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
During fast cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This results in pronounced chassis twisting and body deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The brace is designed to reduce unwanted chassis bending and twisting. The product is suitable for the 2.0D and 2.4 engines with 2WD.
