A car’s chassis is subjected to significant loads during dynamic driving, mainly due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration. This four-point mid lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body flex and improve vehicle stiffness.
When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This results in greater deformation and chassis flex, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace attaches to 4 mounting points and is designed for Hyundai Genesis Coupe (BK) and Hyundai Rohens Coupe (BK) vehicles with a 2.0T engine and 2WD.
Suitable for: Hyundai Genesis I (BK).
