The vehicle chassis is subjected to the greatest loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes considerable chassis twisting and deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause poorer handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace helps reduce unwanted body twisting.
