The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest stress during driving. High loads occur mainly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or sharp acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in greater deformation and twisting of the chassis, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace helps improve chassis rigidity and therefore vehicle stability.
