The Ultra Racing 2-point mid lower H-brace is designed for the Porsche Boxster (986). The vehicle’s chassis is subjected to significant loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
During cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more heavily than the other. This can cause significant bending and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
