The Ultra Racing rear chassis brace is designed to reduce body twisting and deformation caused by the transfer of loads during fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can increase to up to three times that on the other side. Such loads cause the chassis to bend and twist, which can result in the tyres losing grip. Chassis deformation can also negatively affect vehicle handling, for example by increasing understeer or oversteer.
