The rear frame brace is designed to reduce chassis flex and body deformation during dynamic driving. During fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to heavy loads caused by the transfer of the vehicle’s weight.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in greater deformation and chassis flex, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace helps improve the rigidity of the rear section of the chassis.
